Frazer DMS pricing, explained — what it actually costs in 2026

Frazer has earned its place: its pricing page says more than 19,000 independent dealers use it, and it includes buy-here-pay-here and a full accounting suite in the base price. It's also one of the few DMS vendors that puts its price right on the page. The number to watch is the one that changes when you want to use it away from the office, and the dealer website, which isn't part of either plan.

Prices below are exactly as listed on Frazer's pricing page on October 7, 2026. Vendors change prices; confirm your quote with Frazer. Full disclosure: I run a used-car lot and built DealerVLO, a competing DMS, so read my comparison sections with that in mind.

The short answer

Frazer comes in two shapes:

• Desktop: $129 a month, or $387 a quarter, or $1,299 a year paid up front (Frazer lists that as a $249 discount), plus sales tax where it applies.
• Hosted: from $199 a month. This is the version you can use from anywhere; Frazer's pricing page marks "access from anywhere" as not included on Desktop.

Both include inventory management, sales processing, forms printing, buy here pay here, and a full accounting suite, and Frazer says there are no setup costs or hidden fees.

For comparison, DealerVLO is $29 a month flat, runs in any browser on any device, and includes what Frazer leaves to another vendor: the dealer website, plus listing feeds, e-signatures, and your state's title and registration forms filled from every deal, for unlimited users.

What each plan includes

The pricing page also lists thousands of free forms, free on-site installation and training (available in most states), free retail installment contracts (in most states), internet advertising as included, free unlimited support, and more than 200 integrations with marketing and website platforms, finance companies, credit reporting, payment processors, online DMV services, value guides, and history reports.

What it doesn't list is a dealer website. For that, Frazer points to its integrations, which means another vendor and another bill. For a sense of scale, AutoManager's website product starts at $70 a month and DealerCenter's Premium Website is $99.

So the realistic comparison for a lot that wants to work away from the office and have a website is Frazer Hosted from $199 a month plus a website vendor, against DealerVLO at $29 with the website included.

What a lot actually pays

At list price, before sales tax and a website:

• Desktop, prepaid yearly: $1,299 a year, about $108 a month.
• Desktop, monthly: $129 × 12 = $1,548 a year.
• Hosted: from $199 × 12 = $2,388 a year.
• DealerVLO, website included: $29 × 12 = $348 a year.

Add your website vendor to each Frazer line: at $70 to $99 a month, that's another $840 to $1,188 a year.

Monthly cost at list price: Frazer Hosted from $199, Frazer Desktop $129 monthly or about $108 a month prepaid yearly, each before a separate website, and DealerVLO $29 with the website included.

What $29 a month gets you in DealerVLO

I built DealerVLO to run my own lot in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and it still does. It's one system for the whole used-car operation, on one flat plan, in a browser:

All of it is $29 a month for unlimited users, with no setup fee and no contract, and nothing to install.

What to verify before you sign

Questions to ask before signing with Frazer: whether you need access away from the office, where your dealer website will come from, which integrations you need and their cost, on-site installation and free contracts in your state, and sales tax on the subscription.

Where DealerVLO is the better fit

• You work away from the office. DealerVLO runs in any browser at $29; on Frazer that's Hosted, from $199.
• You want the website in the same system. DealerVLO's dealer website updates itself from your inventory and is included.
• You want your state's paperwork filled from the deal. Title and registration forms for all 50 states, plus e-signatures.
• You price for turn. Per-car reconditioning costs, true margins, days on the lot, and a live-comps price suggestion on every car.

Where Frazer is the better fit

To be fair to them, here's where I'd point a dealer to Frazer instead:

• You want a full accounting suite in the DMS. Frazer includes one in both plans. DealerVLO has a P&L, but no general ledger and no QuickBooks connection.
• You run buy here pay here and want an established system. BHPH is built into both Frazer plans, and Frazer says more than 19,000 independent dealers use it.
• You want on-site installation and training. Frazer lists it free in most states, along with free unlimited support.
• You need a specific integration. Frazer lists more than 200, including finance companies and credit reporting. DealerVLO doesn't pull credit or submit to lenders.

Frazer at $129 a month (or $1,299 a year) is a fair price for a desktop DMS with BHPH and full accounting built in, and its track record is real. Budget for Hosted at $199 or more if you want to work away from the office, and for a separate website vendor either way.
