Honest comparison

DealerVLO vs. AutoRaptor

AutoRaptor is a CRM — it tracks leads, sends texts, manages followups. DealerVLO is a full dealer management system that includes the CRM, plus inventory, deal jacket, federal and state forms, and a public dealer website. Here's what that means for your lot.

Why dealers move

CRM is a feature, not a separate product

AutoRaptor charges per-user for lead tracking and customer comms. DealerVLO bundles all of that into the single $19/month plan, alongside the inventory and deal jacket those leads are supposed to turn into. One vendor, one bill, one login.

Leads land on a deal jacket, not a workflow

AutoRaptor's strength is the funnel: lead → contact → appointment. DealerVLO's strength is the close: lead → customer → deal jacket → printed Bill of Sale → SOLD vehicle. The whole pipeline lives in one tool so you stop copy-pasting between systems.

Inventory and paperwork are first-class, not extras

AutoRaptor doesn't manage your inventory or generate sale paperwork. You'd still need a separate DMS for that. DealerVLO ships VIN auto-decode, photo management, Bill of Sale, FTC Buyers Guide, Federal Odometer Disclosure, MA RMV-1, and Damage Disclosure — all auto-filled from the deal data.

Common questions

I already love AutoRaptor's CRM. Do I have to give that up?+

No — DealerVLO doesn't block you from running AutoRaptor for lead-side workflows. Many dealers use a CRM in parallel for outbound campaigns and texting, then move qualified leads into DealerVLO when it's time to write the deal. The two systems don't conflict. That said, if you'd like one tool that does both, DealerVLO is building the SMS / followup features AutoRaptor leads with — and you'd save the per-user cost.

Where is AutoRaptor still stronger?+

Lead-side automation. AutoRaptor has years of investment in outbound texting, voice broadcast, automated drip campaigns, call tracking, and round-robin lead distribution. If you have 5+ sales reps and your business depends on outbound follow-up volume, AutoRaptor's CRM depth is hard to beat. DealerVLO's lead inbox is solid but intentionally simpler — built around the deal jacket, not the cold-call funnel.

What about my AutoRaptor history?+

AutoRaptor lets you export your customer records and lead history. DealerVLO has a CSV import on the roadmap; in the meantime, you'd manually add active customers (the ones with open deals) and let historical lead data stay in AutoRaptor as a read-only archive.

Is there a contract or setup fee?+

No. $19/month flat, cancel any time. The 14-day trial requires no credit card. Your data exports any time.
