Honest comparison

DealerVLO vs. Frazer

Frazer has served small used-car lots for years with a desktop-first approach. DealerVLO is the modern, browser-based alternative — same federal and state paperwork, plus a dealer website included. Here's what's different.

Why dealers move

Browser-first, not desktop-first

Frazer's strength is its locally-installed Windows software. DealerVLO runs anywhere with a browser — laptop, iPad, phone in the showroom. No installer, no per-machine licenses, no version mismatch between the office computer and the laptop in the parking lot.

Your dealer website is included

Frazer doesn't ship a public dealer website. DealerVLO syncs your inventory to a public site at your custom domain in real time — photos, prices, vehicle detail pages, lead-capture contact form. One vendor, one bill.

Built-in document versioning

Every Bill of Sale, Buyers Guide, RMV-1, and Odometer Disclosure is version-stamped and archived in private storage. Regenerate a corrected form and the previous version stays in the audit trail. Frazer prints; DealerVLO prints AND keeps the receipt.

Common questions

Does DealerVLO do everything Frazer does?+

For most independent used-car lots, yes — inventory, customers, deals, federal and state paperwork, and a public dealer website. The one area where Frazer is still stronger is Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH): Frazer has deep loan-tracking, payment-collection, and customer-followup features that DealerVLO doesn't fully match yet. If BHPH is your business model, evaluate carefully.

I already paid for a Frazer license. Can I run both during a transition?+

Yes. DealerVLO doesn't conflict with anything Frazer does on disk — you can keep Frazer running for your historical records and active loan accounts, and test DealerVLO on new deals. Most dealers run them in parallel for 2-4 weeks before fully cutting over.

What about my Frazer data?+

A direct CSV import from Frazer is on our roadmap. For now, the fastest path is to enter active customers and current inventory manually — paste VINs into DealerVLO and the form fills itself from NHTSA, so a 30-vehicle lot takes about an hour. Historical records stay in Frazer.

Is there a contract or setup fee?+

No. $19/month flat, cancel any time. The 14-day trial requires no credit card. Your data exports any time — we'll never lock you in.
